BUILDING DEDICATION

Beloved in the Lord,

Permit me to add my voice to that of the Psalmist to echo once more the words of Psalm 115:1 “NOT UNTO US O LORD NOT UNTO US. UNTO THY NAME O LORD, DO WE GIVE ALL GLORY”

Beloved, it is with immense excitement that I welcome you all as indispensable members of this congregation to the joyous ceremony marking the solemn dedication of the Harvesters’ Cathedral.

The pursuit of this vision begun with a consuming yearning that was adamant to the unfriendly protests of impeding obstacles.

Hitherto, our lives bore records of no moving tale that could have honed us for the unforeseen misfortunes that ignited our fears and the overwhelming lows that thawed our hopes. But here now, our eyes hang like gleaming pearls before our very vision – (THE HARVESTER’S CATHEDRAL), a vision we held and carved through the love of an illustrious fellowship with ourselves and our beloved Master Jesus Christ. Pastoral Message

“I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of the Lord, And now we are standing here inside your gates..................” -Psalm 122:1-2a. And so we celebrate because the Lord has indeed done amazing things for us. This chapel was built through the sacrificial giving of our members and friends.

As we dedicate this building today, we greatly appreciate the courtesy that was extended to us by the Proprietor of Perpetual International School, the Head teacher of Akosa School and the Owners of Rivoli Cinema. They afforded us temporary place of worship. And also the State Housing Corporation for the land on which this building stands. click here for more

This achievement has not been easy for us, for we encountered many frustrations in the process but we have kept the faith and persevered. This building is a tribute of our love for God and our belief in the ultimate coming of His Kingdom on earth.

We attribute our success to God, for having brought us through and landed us safely in our new Church building. We are appreciative to the loyal Members and Leaders in the Church for the marvelous way that they have supported our efforts in this achievement.

Today we rejoice thanking God for His multitude of blessings shown to us, and we say may He bless this house and make it safe by day and night. Bless the walls so firm and strong keeping them trouble free. May He also bless the roof so tall and His peace lie over all. May God bless the doors that they prove ever open to joy and love.
